Nottingham became the first team to have five different goalscorers in a match on July 31st 1954 when they won 6-0 at Sheffield. Claire Tyzack put them in front and June Morgan added a second before the break. Mary Sellars made it three in the third quarter before Sheffield's Jennifer Charlton diverted the ball past her own netminder. Wendy Redmond added number five in the dying minutes before Morgan completed the scoring with her second of the game.

Taught PE in a Secondary school before taking on the role of coach of the Outlaws and guiding them to Senior Gridball in 1953.

The younger sister of Coach, Beulah Whitworth, Angela was also educated in Switzerland before working for the SOE during World War Two. After the war Angela worked as a fashion model before being convinced by her sister to sign for the Outlaws in January 1954 after their promotion goalie opted not to turn professional and remain with the amateur side

Born Mary de Lirio in London to a Spanish-Filipino father and English mother. While singing in a nightclub, she met and married a Canadian sailor in 1944 and moved to Canada. After the marriage dissolved, she lived and sang in Fort Lauderdale before returning to Britain in 1951. She joined Nottingham Outlaws in 1952.
